The Spyra-Base range of anchors have been tried and tested for a wide
variety of different anchorage requirements, from tents to massive
inflatable structures.

The two kits available allow all types and sizes of boats to be quickly and
securely moored in all types of ground conditions. Both kits come with an
insertion tool with easier ground insertion and quick with removal of the
anchors when required.

The verdict

Based on my brief trial, I reckon that Spyra-Base anchors offer a much more
reliable method of mooring than conventional spikes. They would be ideal for
mooring while out cruising and a boon to anyone with a long term towpath or
offside mooring with no rings or piling.
